A second boys' bracket was introduce to the Kreul tournament. Featuring eight teams, the Eagles of Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) emerged as champion and Saah Nimley was honored with the Most Valuable Player award.

In a match-up game between two of Florida's perrenial powers, Lauderdale Lakes' Boyd Anderson defeated central Florida's much heralded Montverde Academy. Player of the Game honors went to BA's Bryan Bynes.


2009 Champs and MVPs

The 20th annual Kreul tournament featured three highly competitive divisions, a 16-team bracket and two 8-team brackets comprised of some of the nation's most coveted recruites including top-ranked Brandon Knight, a two-time National Gatorade Player of the Year, Patric Young, Stacy Poole, Quincy Miller and Jacoby Brissett among others.
